Door Construction & Profiles

Our solid wood cabinet doors are constructed using traditional joinery methods for lasting quality and durability. The external frame edge, internal frame edge and panel design are fully interchangable, allowing you to mix and match from a wide range of profiles to create a bespoke cabinet door tailored to your space.

Door Specifications

 Standard doors are made using butt joins, and our door frame dimensions are 64mm wide and 19mm thick; however, these can be easily adjusted to suit your preferred aesthetic. Flat panels are typically crafted using 4-9mm veneer to ensure optimum strength and stability. For a more premium option or when a raised panel is desired, solid timber panels can be incorporated to align with your design preferences.

Construction & Customisation

Solid Timber Doors are fully customisable, everything from your choice of timber species to the frame and panel detailing, colour and finish. Panel detailing offers almost unlimited possiblities - from veneer or glass to profiles from our Latho Move range, along with a wide array of bespoke options. Every element can be tailored to suit your vision. With your ideas and our tools, craftmanship and expertise, we create a door that is truly unique to your home.

Finishes & Protection 

Our Solid Wood Doors can be finished in a variety of premium options, including clear or coloured oil, clear polyurethane, or a stained-and-polyurethane combination. We offer a selection of standard stain colours, and custom staining is also available to achieve your desired look. Alternatively, we can also supply in a raw sanded finish, ready for you to apply your own coating.
