Bamboo Sizes & Construction

Sheet sizes available:

 

  • 4200L x 720W
  • 3600L x 1250W
  • 3000L x 1250/720W
  • 2440L x 1250/720W

All sheets are available in popular golden Carbonised colour and in 30 & 40mm thicknesses.

The 2440 x 1250 sheets also available in 19mm and 60mm thick. 

The edges of the Bamboo feature different ply constructions look which can be clashed if preferred.  

 

Sheets can be supplied raw and unfinished or as a fully completed piece ready for install.

Eco Bamboo Capabilities

Eco Bamboo is mainly chosen for benchtops, but its structural strength makes it capable of alot more. This sustainable material is highly adaptable, performing exceptionally well for stair treads, architectural slats and fins, cabinet fronts, and custom furniture pieces. To ensure a seamless build, we generally handle the entire fabrication process. Every piece is precision-cut and fully finished right here in our factory, then delivered, ready for installation.

Construction & Craftsmanship

We manufacture wood benchtops in a range of thicknesses to suit your design. Our standard thickness is 40 mm, providing the perfect balance of strength and proportion. Tops can be crafted from 19mm, provided it is entirely supported under, up to over 120 mm thick to suit any design. Butt joins are common with Bamboo as it allows for minimum waste but mitre joins are still possible. We recommend that joins and cut-outs, including precision sink fittings, are completed in our factory to ensure every benchtop is fully sealed and arrives ready for straightforward installation.

Our Bamboo benchtops are available in several durable finishes, including Hi-Build Resin, Two-Pack Lacquer, and Natural Oil. Each finish protects your benchtop in different ways and comes with a warranty of either 5 or 10 years.
